With some exceptions, all of our residents are required to maintain a minimum of $100,000 liability insurance while staying with us. Assurant Specialty Property offers Equity Residential residents easy access to multiple coverage plans. Even better, all of our residents are pre-approved.

Liability Insurance

Liability insurance typically covers damage done to the apartment or injury to a guest for which you are liable, up to the coverage limit.

Renter's Insurance

We also encourage you to consider protecting your personal belongings against fire, certain natural disasters, theft, and vandalism by upgrading to a Renter's Insurance policy.

Job Loss Insurance

Assurant Specialty Property offers Equity residents insurance to help with rent in case of job loss. This option can be added to new or existing policies.
